Specialists

Ambassadors
Ambassadors serve as the heads of their respective national teams. They represent their country’s voice and participate in specialized task forces, international conferences, and high-level discussions.
The Chairperson
The Chairperson oversees all organizational matters, chairs the Ambassadorial Council, the Board of Advisors, and the Board of Directors, and provides overall strategic leadership to the organization.

Administrators are essential to the day-to-day operations of IYCGE. They are pivotal to administrative coordination, operational support, and organizational management.
Secretariat
Secretariat are responsible for the organization's day-to-day administration, institutional coordination, operational management, and the implementation of decisions adopted by the Executive Board.
Interns
Interns participate in structured educational or departmental tracks within distinct divisions, contributing to departmental initiatives and the broader organizational objectives of IYCGE.
Fellows
Fellowships are the backbone of each national team, divided into Research, Government Relations, and Public Advocacy streams that advance the organization’s mission.
Advisors
Advisors bring expert guidance across policy, research, advocacy, and organizational development, supporting IYCGE’s leadership with strategic insight and institutional experience.

Welcome to the International Youth Council on Gender Equality.
I am Adam Alkazely, the Chairperson of IYCGE, and I am thrilled to welcome you as part of our journey toward advancing youth leadership, dialogue, and equality.
Founded with the vision of empowering young people to become advocates for gender equality, IYCGE stands as a pillar where, rather than conflict, we seek convergence; and rather than division, we embrace disagreement through meaningful dialogue, understanding, and collaboration.
As my colleague Deputy Guo so brilliantly put it, “A team so diverse in talents, an operation so extensive in reach, and an ambition so noble in aim belongs to a project that has rarely been conceptualized, and more seldomly been successfully put into execution by people of our age.”

The IYCGE Ambassador serves as the official representative of the International Youth Council on Gender Equality within their assigned country, advancing our mission through advocacy, engagement, and international collaboration. Ambassadors participate in global forums, contribute country-specific perspectives on gender equality, and foster meaningful connections with youth, organizations, and stakeholders in their communities.
The Secretariat
The Secretariat serves as the administrative and operational backbone of the International Youth Council on Gender Equality (IYCGE), ensuring the effective day-to-day functioning of the organization. Working closely with the Executive Board and the Office of the Chairperson, the Secretariat coordinates internal operations, supports institutional governance, manages organizational processes, and facilitates the implementation of strategic decisions.
